Where they started
People were losing focus to calls at the wrong time. Android's Do Not Disturb is all-or-nothing, so silencing spam and work calls also meant missing family. Scheduling a reminder SMS or a WhatsApp greeting needed separate apps. The client wanted one simple app that handles all of it, and a business model built on ads and subscriptions that would not ruin the experience.
What we built
We built a native Android app that lets users group their contacts and decide, group by group and hour by hour, whose calls ring and whose stay silent. The same app schedules calls, SMS and WhatsApp messages, works as the phone's default SMS app, and shows a clean summary after every call. Monetisation was designed in from day one: native ads that match the app's own design, interstitials only after a finished action, opt-in rewarded ads, premium plans through Google Play, and GDPR consent for European users.
